SAS Cargo is adjusting the dynamic fuel surcharge fee to fully cover the fuel costs and thereby making it more transparent. The new fuel surcharge level will better reflect the actual incremental cost of fuel per kilo required to transport freight on short and long haul routes.
The new fuel surcharge model will be introduced in each Sales country considering possible local regulations and authority approvals effective for departures from 30th of October 2022.
The fuel surcharge fee level is determined once a month based on the average fuel price from IATA PLATTS Jet CIF Northwest Europe (NWE) High.
The fuel surcharge levels for each Sales country are communicated in SAS Cargo Charges and Fee list available at SASCARGO.COM.
The applicable fuel surcharge fee will be displayed during the online booking process at SASCARGO.COM.
Dear SAS Cargo customer,
We are happy to announce that we have reached new collective bargaining agreements with the SAS Scandinavia pilots’ unions.
This is great news, because it means that the strike is over and that our traffic will normalize over the next few days. See the plan for the widebody operations to/from PVG and USA below (subject to change).
Our colleagues in Cargo Booking/Customer Support Center are on hand to help guide you on which solution is available for the coming week.
If you need additional information, please contact your local SAS Cargo Sales contact.
Thank you for your patience, we are looking forward to welcoming your freight onboard SAS.
