
Recently SAS took a new aircraft model in use the Airbus A319 which gradually will replace some of the MD87s in the SAS fleet. The Airbus 319 is part of the same aircraft family as the Airbus 321, which is already part of the SAS fleet.
The first two new aircraft will be delivered during the autumn of 2006 and will, for the most part, fly routes between Copenhagen and Germany, Amsterdam and Brussels.
